W.J. TOWELL,  was established in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman in 1866. The activities then mainly encompassed trading of consumer goods and shipping.

Real Estate – One of the Group’s core business and major assets and many of the extensive properties hold valuable re-development potential.

FMCG – Distribution of consumer goods and importing foodstuff under it’s own brand name.

Automotive – Representing a leading automobile brand and a strong presence in Auto Leasing, Tyres, Batteries and Allied Products.

Engineering and Construction – Offers specialized services and products in the Oil and Gas sector, water and other industries. Embarked on taking up of competitive third party projects along with the on-going in-house property developments.

Industry – Manufacturing of paints, furnishings, pet bottles and building materials including concrete and fiber glass pipes.

Investments – Indirect participation in quarrying, engineering and through a number of shareholdings in local enterprises. Computer services and telecommunications – Pioneers of the first to ‘Arabise’ management software packages in the Oman.
